Most
NLGJA sessions and events will take place

bigger sessions venturing up a floor
or two to the hotel’s beautiful
terraces. All convention plenaries and
meals will take place in California Ballroom

in the pool, press three in the elevator
and make sure you bring your room key.

Take
a Taxi
If
you’re
venturing out of downtown,
cab sharing with other attendees
is your best bet. Meet at the
NLGJA registration desk to
form a group, and then let
the hotel door staff do the
rest. For the return trip,
program 619-234-6161 into your
cell phone. That’s
the number for Yellow Cab of
San Diego, and you’ll
be happy you have it in your
back pocket.
Take
the Trolley
Though
it can't take you everywhere
(like
the beach), San Diego's
trolley system is handy for
travel within downtown and
out to the burbs. They operate
seven days a week from about
5:00 AM until midnight, depending
on the station, at intervals
of about 15 minutes. Click here for
more information and timetables.
Take
a Shuttle
Numerous shuttle
services are
also available for airport
transportation. Shuttle prices
generally
begin at $7.00, and
attendees can expect the trip
to be between 15 and 20 minutes.
The hotel concierge recommends Xpress
Shuttle and Cloud
9 Shuttle.
