Sarah BlazuckiSarah Blazucki, former editor of the Philadelphia Gay News, is a Certified Professional Résumé Writer, with over 10 years of experience writing federal and private industry résumés and cover letters. She has helped thousands of jobseekers focus on their accomplishments and skills to tell their stories, set them apart from the competition and get hired. She advises clients on job search strategies, application processes, job announcements and qualifications and how to best fit one’s background to a particular job announcement. Sarah has worked with clients in a range of fields, including administration, public relations, journalism, engineering, information technology, human resource management, accounting and finance, healthcare, social work, legal, library science, education, investigation, law enforcement and security, quality assurance, supply and transportation, trades, sales and hospitality. Additionally, she has contributed to and edited several résumé writing books, including “Ten Steps to a Federal Job” and “Resumes for Dummies, Fifth Edition.”
Sarah is currently the Vice President for Print and Digital for the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association and recently started a job as a writer-editor for the Peace Corps. Sarah received her B.A. from Towson State University in mass communications, with a concentration in journalism and a minor in women’s studies. She also recently led the development of a website to find LGBT rights (lgbtrights.me) by address or GPS locator on a smartphone.
