Headlines & Headliners: NLGJA's Annual New York Benefit

This is our (and your) night in the spotlight in the media capital of the world. As one of NLGJA's biggest annual fundraisers, Headlines & Headliners plays a vital role in supporting the organization's on-going programming and outreach in journalism and education. Excellence in Journalism Awards & Hall of Fame Ceremony

NLGJA's Excellence in Journalism Awards were established in 1993 to foster, recognize and reward excellence in journalism on issues related to the LGBT community. Now in it's sixteenth year, the program has grown to include twelve distinct media categories, representing both the increasing visibility of the LGBT community and the many ways in which people receive news about LGBT people and issues.
