More than 30 students will take part in this one-week intensive project.

Students participating in the 2012 NLGJA Student Project will work with media professionals to report, edit, photograph, design and produce the news of the UNITY '12 Convention while helping to ensure fair and accurate coverage of LGBT issues at the event.

UNITYNews.org will deliver constantly updated breaking news and information produced by the project. Students will get front-end training in the skills they need to create and distribute news and information in today's changing environment.
