News Media Companies with Domestic Partner Benefits
Workplace Campaigns > Directory of Domestic Partner Benefits > News Media Companies

Overview & Guide

The percent enrolled is a percentage of total employees.

In nearly every case when we asked about the financial impact to the company, we were told either that costs were negligible or that the company had not bothered to track the numbers (suggesting they expected minimal impact). The data below are based on 1999 interviews unless otherwise noted.

Companies offering DP benefits to both same-sex and opposite-sex domestic partners are indicated by the words, "all eligible."

Individual listings in this directory will quickly become outdated, given the fast pace of adoption of DP benefits and continued mergers and acquisitions in the news industry.

This is an incomplete list. Please contact NLGJA Deputy Executive Director Tom Avila at tavila@nlgja.org or 202-588-9888, ext. 17 with corrections and additions.
