Asking and Telling: LGBT research for journalists

At home and around the world, LGBT visibility has had profound impact on journalists and their growing coverage of LGBT people, households, narratives and ideas. The power of new and emerging research is also helping shape this coverage, and expanding its reach. This session will help explore and highlight today’s research options and methodologies that turn up answers to sometimes difficult and elusive questions that writers, broadcasters, edits, bloggers and educators must ask to do their jobs.
