With the New Year come new concepts in social media. Already we’re seeing a new site, Ello (which the LGBT community has already taken a liking to) take social media by storm. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are still very much in the picture. Our rock star panel (I’m hoping that Robin Phillips, David Plazas, and Mark Luckie can join the group again) will look at the new “trends” in social media, what’s best for journalists’ needs, and a review of the do’s and don’ts for journalists on all platforms. It will be fun and interactive, just as it was in 2013 and 2014.
