Jahna Berry is the new web editor at Mother Jones. She joined the publication in August and works in Mother Jones’ San Francisco office. Before that, Jahna was the digital managing editor at the San Francisco Business Times, where she coached reporters and editors on how to strategically use video, social media and graphics. For several years, Jahna worked at the Arizona Republic in Phoenix, where she was a reporter and editor. She was also a reporter at the Contra Costa Times, The Recorder in San Francisco and MTV Interactive. At the Recorder, Jahna wrote an award-winning story about a police misconduct case. Jahna has penned articles about a wide range of business topics as well as crime, courts and city politics.
