Margaret ArcherMargaret “Margie” Archer works as a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors in Atlanta, Georgia, where she specializes in investment planning and strategies for her clients. Wells Fargo Advisors has recognized Margie as a Premier Advisor. During her career, Margie has concentrated her business in the areas of retirement income and investment planning. She also holds the Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor ( ADPA®) designation, and advises same gender families on investment planning.

Margie is a sought-after speaker and has presented to a wide variety of audiences, including The Advocate “Money Minutes”. In May 2015, she addressed advisors from across the industry on LGBT client issues at the Barron’s Top Advisors Diversity Summit. She has been quoted in publications such as “The Financial Times”, “The Christian Science Monitor”, and the “National Resource Center on LGBT Aging”, among others. Currently, she serves as a member of the LGBT Steering Committee for Wells Fargo Advisors and an ADPA Conference Leader. In 2014, Wells Fargo named Margie as Enterprise Diversity and Inclusion Champion.

A Chicago native, Margie received her B.A. in Finance from Illinois State University. While attending college she played Division I varsity tennis. Away from the office she enjoys gardening, golf and travel.
