Join NLGJA in partnership with The Desert Sun and The Storytellers Project for a night of true, first-person storytelling by LGBTQ journalists from across the nation.

In anticipation of the NLGJA 2018 National Convention, we’re sharing stories of the wide world of journalism from LGBTQ journalists working every day to reflect the communities they serve while remaining true to their identity. We’ve designed this custom live event to celebrate the role of U.S. journalists at the local and national level, inspiring empathy and curiosity in listeners. During this night of storytelling, a diverse group of journalists will tell the stories behind the stories, and the stories behind people’s passion for the ways newsrooms serve our country. This show is about connecting diverse people through the shared values illuminated by idiosyncratic personal experiences.

NLGJA National Convention registered attendees receive complimentary admission with the promo code NLGJA. Get your tickets here!
