In 1990 Roy Aarons gathered a group of journalists together in his San Francisco Bay Area living room to talk about the issues that face LGBTQ people in the newsroom. From that first meeting, NLGJA has grown to be the voice for LGBTQ people in newsrooms across the country. Join us for a look back over more than two decades of progress for LGBTQ journalists.
