Pride coverage continues to dominate the covers of LGBT papers as the first week of Pride month comes to a close, while a macabre story about a gay cannibal murder suspect also garnered headlines.

Due to two key decisions in same-sex marriage cases on both coasts issued in the last week and a half, the judicial fight for marriage equality again landed front page coverage this week.

In California the June 5 Primary results was a lead story. A gay conservative Republican councilman landed first place in the race for San Diego mayor and is headed to a fall runoff as are a number of LGBT candidates for state Assembly and Senate seats as well as a Riverside congressional district.
