Las Vegas, NV – As the UNITY Journalists Convention draws to a close, NLGJA announces its next convention location. More than 350 journalists and communication professionals from across the United States will meet in Boston from August 22 – 25, 2013 for the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association National Convention and 9th LGBT Media Summit. Host hotel, the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers will welcome these influential members of the LGBT and mainstream media.

The four-day assembly will begin with the LGBT Media Summit on August 22, followed by two full days of programming with more than 40 workshops designed to address the needs of journalists and those in the communication industry. The convention will also include receptions, the NLGJA Summer Student Project, a women's networking dinner and numerous other networking opportunities for members.
