Vice President of Broadcast Ken Miguel and Treasurer Sharif Durhams Re-Elected, Secretary Rick Stuckey Joins the Executive Committee

San Francisco, CA –The National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association is happy to announce its unanimously confirmed Board of Directors to serve 2015-2016.

Returning Vice President of Broadcast Ken Miguel is a Segment Producer at KGO-TV, the ABC- owned station in San Francisco.  A three-time Emmy award winning producer, Miguel has been active in NLGJA for over a decade.  He has served as President of the Northern California Chapter and as a member of the NLGJA National Board.

Miguel was confirmed at the NLGJA Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, held in San Francisco just prior to the beginning of the 2015 Coming Home National Convention & LGBT Media Summit. In addition to Miguel, the board confirmed Sharif Durhams as Treasurer and Rick Stuckey as Secretary for two-year terms into summer 2017. The board also confirmed Board Members Matthew Berger, Sue Green, Robin Phillips and Steve Rosen for one-year terms into summer 2016 and April Hunt, Bret Larson and Jeff Truesdell for two-year terms into summer 2017.

Five board members continue to serve in their positions until their terms end in 2016 including President Jen Christensen, Vice President of Print and Online Sarah Blazucki and Board Members Bil Browning, Tyler Chance, Fiona Dawson and Trey Graham.
