South Florida residents can check out the SPJ Florida Freelance Fair. Publications from all across South Florida will be there in need of writers, designers, photographers and other talented journalists. Publications include the Miami Herald, Gulfstream Media Group, South Florida Gay News, Fort Lauderdale magazine, Debt.com, Palm Beach Post, The Plantain, Miami.com and other online and print companies. The event will take place at the Pride Center, 2040 N Dixie Highway, Wilton Manors on February 18 from 1-5 p.m.
