The 20th anniversary convention of NLGJA in San Francisco is over, but the coverage remains.
From stories about being out in high school to the gay blood donation ban to the informational picket by UniteHere, our 12 student project participants did an amazing job of documenting the convention.

“Gay journalists to face union picket line” was the headline of the Washington Blade article in anticipation of the event.
“Gay journalists shift focus to keeping jobs” was the headline of the San Francisco Chronicle article during the event.
