Excellence in Video/TV Reporting
Reporter Jodi Hernandez and photojournalist Cyndy Green of KOVR-TV, a CBS affiliate in Sacramento, CA, won for their work on “Dana’s Metamorphosis,” about a male-to-female transgender person’s journey. Judges said the pair used “an even-handed manner, without sensationalism or sentimentality.”
