Join NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists for our first-ever Student Conference from June 25-26, 2021. More than 100 LGBTQ students will come together for networking sessions, informational breakouts and an Internship & Career Fair with top recruiters.
Registration is free for NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists Student Members. Students who are not members and wish to participate may register for $25.
Student Conference registrants will have the option to also apply for the CONNECT: Student Journalism Training Project. The CONNECT: Student Journalism Training Project will select up to 10 students to complete additional training and mentoring in the weeks between the Student Conference and the National Convention. Selected students may have the opportunity to present their work at the National Convention in September. Students who wish to be considered for the CONNECT: Student Journalism Project must register for the Student Conference and indicate their interest on the registration form by May 31. Selected students will be notified.
